The “Training of Trainers 2023” is successfully concluded, which is based on the program “Supporting Democracy in the Western Balkans – Progress and Building Bridges of Cooperation” with a tailored curriculum that includes three intensive and interactive modules, designed as a combination of theoretical presentations and practical skills for participants. “Training of Trainers 2023” aims to support individuals who want to engage as trainers and develop their skills in the field of decision-making, public communication and leadership as important pillars towards the path to success. The topics included in this training include leadership disciplines, a session on communication, media, constructive debate and personal development, modules that will challenge each of the participants. Four trainers were engaged in the three modules, two of whom belong to the alumni group of the Training of Trainers 2022, and one of the trainers belongs to the alumni group of Training of Trainers 2021.
The third module took place on October 7-8 in Durrës, Albania. In this last module, during the first sessions of the first day, the trainers discussed the definition and preparation of the training concept-idea while also allowing time for the groups to prepare the presentation of the training they will simulate. After the serious preparation for the presentations, the participants had the opportunity to relax and engage in social activities organized along the Durrës coast.
The second day of the third module began with the presentation of the First Group, who had chosen to speak on the topic of “Emotional Intelligence”. The second group spoke on a technical but very important topic such as “Youth Empowerment: The Impact and Importance of Young People in Activism and Volunteerism”. The third group closed the presentations with the topic of “Youth Engagement for Active Citizenship”. In the last session, the trainers and participants evaluated the work of the groups by presenting arguments and comments on the preparation of the materials and the presentation of each of the participants during the simulation. At the end of the module, the Executive Director of the Foundation. Mr. Ledjon Shahini, Ms. Romina Kuko, member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and the trainers distributed certificates of participation.
Throughout these three intensive modules, participants were introduced to the theoretical and practical foundations of being a trainer. Upon completion of the training, individuals will begin a long-term engagement with the Qemal Stafa Foundation by participating in various activities, as well as being involved as trainers for future activities of the foundation.
