Socio-Ecological Forum, Skopje

The Qemal Stafa Foundation participated in the second Socio-Ecological Forum held on November 22, 2022 in Skopje, Macedonia and organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Olof Palme International Center and the Progress International Institute for Social Democracy.

More than 100 participants and over 40 panelists were part of this Forum, which brought together progressive leaders, decision-makers, media representatives, energy experts, activists, young leaders, civil society representatives and high-ranking guests from the region and Europe.

The idea of ​​the Forum lies behind the initiatives on how to deal with climate change. The aim for the third edition next year will be to unify perspectives from the countries of the Western Balkans region – national leaders, party leaders, leaders of different communities and representatives of the civil society sector to put into practice how to support each other during the just transition of our societies.
