The Qemal Stafa Foundation organized the Political Academy “Integrity and Anti-Corruption” in a two-day training with young people from different regions of Albania. The Political Academy had the main goal of increasing the capacities of Albanian youth in the field of Integrity and Anti-Corruption.
During the training, the concept of corruption and its evolution over time were discussed, focusing in particular on the types of corruption, its causes and effects on society and the economy. A very important integral part of the training was the discussion on anti-corruption strategies, their approaches, as well as on the responsible institutions.
In the context of the fight against corruption, participants were also trained on the principles of integrity, anti-corruption policies and transparency. The young people became part of group work, stimulating their creativity and sharing knowledge with each other.
The training was organized on November 11-12, 2023 in the city of Tirana with the support of the Olof Palme International Center.
