The Qemal Stafa Foundation becomes part of the ”Friends of the Western Balkans” network, gathered on November 13-15, 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic and organized by FEPS, Friedrich-Ebert Foundation, Dialogue Southeast Europe , Renner Institute , Masarykova demokratická akademie , Kalevi Sorsa Foundation, Jean-Jaurès Foundation, Max van der Stoel Foundation, Društvo Progresiva , Olof Palme International Center in cooperation with CeSPI .
The mission of the Friends of the Western Balkans network is to provide EU parliamentarians with more knowledge and information on the current situation in the Western Balkans and the state of the enlargement process. Furthermore, the network will provide opportunities for exchanges of perceptions and ideas with Western Balkan stakeholders and support closer ties between the EU and Western Balkan social democrats.
