On June 17-18, 2022, the Qemal Stafa Foundation participated in the Training of Trainers organized by the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation in Tirana. This training was developed to improve the trainers’ skills in teaching participants socio-political and economic concepts from the perspective of social-democratic values. Participants were trained on the needs and experiences of training participants and how to incorporate these experiences into the creation and delivery of training; facilitating trainings that are interactive in nature using a mix of learning activities, which teach a wide range of learning methods based on adult learning principles.
In this training, participants were introduced to good teaching and facilitation practices, including, among others, interpersonal interaction skills, summarizing, providing feedback, flexibility and responsiveness to the training space, effective communication, engagement of all participants, and audience management.
