On the occasion of the proceedings of the IUSY (International Organization of Socialist Youth) World Council and the recent developments that are taking place that have an impact on the Western Balkans region, the Qemal Stafa Foundation organized the Western Balkans Roundtable “Does the EU need a convincing path for the accession of the Western Balkans, or does it lack a plan for the region?” on June 2, 2022 in Tirana. This project/activity was organized within the framework of the Tirana, European Youth Capital 2022 program.
The open discussion served to discuss our views and positions on the newest regional cooperation initiative, to exchange ideas, best practices and our visions for the future of the Western Balkans within the EU. Invited were important local, regional and European political figures as well as representatives of youth gathered in Tirana on the occasion of the IUSY Council proceedings.
