To support and strengthen the youth structure of Tirana of the Socialist Party in terms of the significant inclusion of young people in decision-making processes within the Socialist Party, as well as to financially support the youth structure of the Socialist Party, FQS, with the financial support of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), has organized the Workshop – Increasing the role of youth in political decision-making processes on March 16, 2024 in Dajt, Tirana.
A group of 19 young people involved in the structures of the Socialist Party of Tirana, in the presence of representatives of the SP, FQS and WFD, participated in the one-day activity which focused on three specific topics:
- Party Democracy and Internal Procedures.
- Building the Party Profile from the Grassroots.
- How to Be Part of Decision-Making Processes.
During the activity, the importance and means of increasing the capacities of young people were addressed in the context of their role in decision-making processes within the SP. The theoretical and practical aspects of each of the topics were discussed between the trainer and the young people, engaging them in individual tasks and in working groups.
