The “Training of Trainers 2022” is successfully concluded, which is based on the program “Supporting Democracy in the Western Balkans – Progress and Building Bridges of Cooperation” with a tailored curriculum that includes three intensive and interactive modules, designed as a combination of theoretical presentations and practical skills for participants. “Training of Trainers 2022” aims to support individuals who want to engage as trainers and develop their skills in the fields of decision-making, public communication and leadership as important pillars towards the path to success. Topics included in this training include leadership disciplines, a session on communication, media, constructive debate, and personal development, modules that will challenge each of the participants. Three trainers were engaged in the three modules, one of whom belongs to the Training of Trainers alumni group, who attended the program in 2021.
The third module took place on October 8-9 in Durrës, Albania. In this last module, during the first sessions of the first day, the trainers discussed the definition and preparation of the training concept-idea, while also allowing time for the groups to prepare the presentation of the training they will simulate. After serious preparation for the presentations, participants had the opportunity to relax and engage in social activities organized along the Durrës coast.
The second day of the third module began with the presentation of Group One, who had chosen to speak on the topic “Public Speaking”. The second group spoke about a technical but very important topic such as “Job Application, Preparation and Interviewing”. The third group concluded their presentations with the topic “Political Systems in Albania and Leadership”. In the last session, trainers and participants evaluated the work of the groups by presenting arguments and comments on the preparation of the materials and the presentation of each participant during the simulation. At the end of the module, the Executive Director of the foundation. Mr. Ledjon Shahini and the trainers distributed certificates of participation.
Throughout these three intensive modules, participants were introduced to the theoretical and practical foundations of being a coach. Upon completion of the training, individuals will begin a long-term engagement with the Qemal Stafa Foundation by participating in various activities, as well as being involved as trainers for the foundation’s future activities.
