In this context, a study entitled \u201cCannabis Legalization in Albania: Benefits and Risks\u201d was conducted, which summarizes the history of illegal cannabis production and distribution in Albania for several decades now, as a hotbed for the European and wider market. In addition, insights are also taken from other countries in the world and those closer to the region, which have previously gone through the legalization process. The paper aims, among other things, to identify the potential benefits and risks that come from this model of cannabis legalization in Albania.   <\/p><p>The paper was presented during a roundtable organized by the Qemal Stafa Foundation on June 13, 2022. Participants were involved in an open discussion after the presentation.
