In focus: Public and Mediatic Communication of the Modern Left

On 27, 28 and 29 July 2018, the Foundation “Qemal Stafa” in cooperation with the Austrian Institute “Karl Renner” organized a training on “Public and Mediatic Communication of the Modern Left”.
The lecturer selected as part of the political education for participants from Albania and Kosovo was Lothar Tschapka, Lecturer & Executive Manager at the Karl Renner Institute in Austria.
The first day of training began with the presentation of the participants and the inclusion of their preferences in the program. An indispensable element that was presented to the participants as a start was “Ice Breaking” that begins from voice management and intonation to the content structure.
As the follow up of the training were discussed about the basic elements to consider: finding the right arguments in the transmission of the message as clean and clear, the importance of time management as well as the control of the body language.
During the training, the importance of “Media” was emphasized as the right mechanism to give ‘life’ to the message it wants to spread to the audience. Mr. Tschapka emphasized the need to address casual questions, which should be treat in such a way that the answer is addressed to the initial questions.
At the end of the training all participants gained a wealth of experience, with multiple techniques such as non-verbal language, clarity in message tracking, and now they are ready to implement them in electoral campaigns.
